NGL Awards

Outstanding local college, Coleg Menai honoured as a digital innovator

Becta announces Coleg Menai as a national winner at annual Next Generation Learning Awards, celebrating technology excellence in the FE and Skills Sector

The awards identify and reward organisations throughout the UK that use technology in outstanding or innovative ways for the bNGL Awards pictureenefit of learners, communities and local employers. Coleg Menai beat off fierce competition from across the UK to win the General Further Education” Award in recognition for its inspiring use of technology to excite and encourage learning in this important sector. The driving force behind this award was the work of the E-Menai team – taking e-learning to employers and the community.

A decade of Success !!

The BCS Auditor awarded an 'A Grade' to e-menai for its e-learning provision during the annual visit in January. This is the 10th successive year that we have achieved an 'A' Grade. The BCS Auditor's report mentioned: "Excellent work throughout - very well done"

The new ECDL Syllabus 5 has proven to be a tremendous success since the launch in September 2009, with over 600 learners taking advantage of the exciting new syllabus. Contact the e-menai team if you want to enrol on this course.
